vCard QR Code Generator

A vCard code encodes a full contact card. One scan and your name, number, email and company land in the other person's phonebook — no typing, no typos.

How to create a vCard code

  1. 1Fill in the contact fields you actually want shared — every field adds data and density.
  2. 2Check the preview stays crisp; trim optional fields if the pattern gets very dense.
  3. 3Style it to match your card design.
  4. 4Download SVG or PDF for print, PNG for digital signatures.

Where contact codes shine

  • Business cards and conference badges
  • Trade show booths and speaker slides
  • Email signatures and digital business cards
  • Shop windows for after-hours enquiries

Keep the pattern readable

vCards carry more characters than a URL, so the grid is finer. Print at a slightly larger size than you would for a link, keep contrast high, and be conservative with logo size.

Formats for cards

SVG or PDF for the print shop, PNG at 1024 px or above for anything on screen.

Contact details stay local

Your QR code is rendered in your browser with JavaScript — the text, URL, password or contact details you type are never sent to our servers. We only record anonymous usage counts (the QR type and how many characters it contained) so we can keep the tool healthy. Content is only stored if you sign in and explicitly save a code to your history.
