Question 9

Can I download QR codes as PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The PDF contains a high-resolution image of your code sized to the resolution you pick (512, 1024 or 2048 px). For true vector artwork, use SVG.

Question 10

Do QR codes created with QR For Me expire?

Accepted Answer

No. They are static codes — the content is stored in the pattern itself, so they keep working as long as whatever they point to (such as a web page) still exists.

Question 11

Are QR codes generated in the browser?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The code is drawn and exported by JavaScript running in your browser, including the PDF.

Question 12

Does QR For Me store my QR code data?

Accepted Answer

Not unless you ask it to. The content you type is not sent to our servers; we log only anonymous counts (the QR type and character length) to monitor usage and abuse. If you sign in and click save, that code is stored in your private cloud history. Recent downloads are also kept in your own browser's local storage.

Question 13

Can I use QR For Me commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can use the codes you generate on products, packaging, menus and marketing material.
